A 31-year-old man is the third person to be charged over the theft of human growth hormones worth nearly $1 million from a medical facility in Sydney's northern suburbs.
Staff at the Frenchs Forest facility discovered the theft of the hormones, worth $800,000, on February 5, police said.
Detectives raided a house on Eric Avenue at Bass Hill in Sydney's southwest on March 7 and allegedly discovered more than 100 boxes of the human growth hormone.
A 31-year-old man gave himself up to police yesterday afternoon and was charged with possession of a prescribed or restricted substance, receiving property, goods in custody and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on April 11.
