20 people have now faced the judge in connection with the cases of illegal steroid sales that stretches from Florida to Texas to New York.
Courtney Sorrells-Loceff and her sister Elaine Sorrells are charged with eight counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy involving Elaine's Florida rejuvenation clinic.
That clinic has alleged connections to Orlando-based Signature Pharmacy, but Sorrells-Loceff's attorney says his client's only connection is a family one.
Thomas Carr/Attorney: “I believe that at the conclusion of this case, my client will be vindicated and cleared of all charges. These cases are of the kind that, with an investigation such as DA Soares has embarked on, it's a wide net.”
Both women were released on $10,000 bail.
