GUTTENBERG - Town police arrested a North Bergen man found on Saturday with $5,000 worth of suspected steroids and syringes, authorities said.
Police arrested Mario Alexander Arenas, 29, of 73rd Street, and charged him with drug possession and drug possession with intent to distribute, Lt. Joel Magenheimer said yesterday.
Officers on patrol near 68th and Hudson streets spotted two men acting suspiciously in a partially vacant apartment building and found Arenas carrying the suspected steroids, and they later found more steroids and syringes in his car, Magenheimer said.
