BAKERSFIELD - Three Kern County Detention Deputies were arrested Friday as a result of a month-long investigation.
Sgt. Donal Lundgren, 34, along with deputies Patrick Holloway, 26, and Joshua Bankston, 25, were arrested Friday morning on drug related charges.
The arrests came after officers served search warrants on two of the deputies’ homes.
Once inside, they found marijuana, steroids, and what is believed to be cocaine.
Lundgren has been with the department for 10 years, and was recently assigned to the Lerdo Jail.
Holloway and Bankston have each been with the department for six years.
They both work at the Central Receiving Facility in downtown Bakerfield.
