Nerbovig Pleads Guilty in Steroids Case

A former Chippewa Falls High School teacher charged with selling steroids will spend a year in jail.

In a plea agreement, 61 year old Greg Nerbovig entered guilty pleas to two counts, delivery of a steroid and possession with intent to deliver. The two counts of delivery were dismissed.

Chippewa County Assistant District Attorney Roy Gay says Nerbovig was sentenced to one year in the county jail and four years probation.

Nerbovig was charged after drug agents raided his Eau Claire home in July and found powdered steroids as well as dozens of loaded and unused syringes. State drug agents say they used an informant to meet Nerbovig at his home to buy steroids.
