NT man fined for steroid imports
August 2, 2007
A 20-year-old man has pleaded guilty in the Darwin Magistrates Court to importing banned drugs from Thailand.
Joshua Alexander Lim went to Thailand during August last year and bought steroids, mailing more than 1,000 tablets and 20 vials of the drugs to his Nightcliff address under false names.
Three packages were originally intercepted in Melbourne and customs officers and Territory police later raided Lim's Darwin property.
Lim has been fined $3,000.
