UFC Middleweight Stefan Sekulic Caught Using Dianabol and Masteron Stack

Stefan Sekulic Caught Using Dianabol and Masteron Stack | steroid.com

Stefan Sekulic was suspended for two years after testing positive for two banned anabolic steroids and their metabolites.

Stefan Skulic, a Serbian mixed martial arts athlete competing in the middleweight division of Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC), has been suspended for a two-year period of ineligibility after testing positive for two prohibited substances.

The prohibited substances were identified as drostanolone and methandienone by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) is the organization in charge of drug testing and results management for the UFC.

Drostanolone is the active ingredient in the injectable anabolic steroid known as Masteron. Methandienone is the active ingredient in the orally-active steroid popularly known as Dianabol.

These two steroids are categorized as prohibited “Anabolic Agents” under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy. The UFC’s policy is based on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.

The Dianabol and Masteron positive came from a sample collected at UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow.

The anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) arose from an in-competition urine sample collected by USADA doping control officers at UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow (Russia) on September 15, 2018. The event was Sekulic’s UFC octagon debut. Sekulic lost the bout by unanimous decision to Ramazan Emeev.

Sekulic has been competing as a professional MMA athlete since 2013. He fought in the Serbian Luta Livre and the Serbian Battle Championship before signing a contract with UFC earlier this year. Sekulic said that becoming a UFC athlete was a “dream come true”.

Unfortunately, Sekulic’s dream may have been short-lived. Sekulic was suspended for two years effective on October 31, 2018. He will be 28 years old when he regains eligibility on October 31, 2020.

After Sekulic’s lackluster octagon debut and his steroid positive, the Serbian MMA athlete may no longer be on the UFC roster when his eligibility to compete is restored. He will have to re-establish himself as a top-tier professional MMA athlete in order to return to UFC.
