Primobolan Depot is an injectable dihydrotestosterone (DHT) derived anabolic androgenic steroid. Comprised of the Methenolone hormone and attached to the large Enanthate ester, while possible side effects of Primobolan Depot do exist they are generally mild. This is one of the more side effect friendly anabolic steroids on the market, and that applies to both men and women. This is not to say side effects of Primobolan Depot do not exist, they most certainly do, but they are easy to avoid and often very mild if they occur. Genetics and the individual’s lifestyle will play the largest roles.
Estrogenic side effects of Primobolan Depot do not exist and are impossible due to the use of this anabolic steroid. The Methenolone hormone does not aromatize, there is no testosterone to estrogen conversion and it is not a progestin. This means gynecomastia and water retention is impossible due to the use of this steroid. If such effects do occur they can only do so due to your use of other specific anabolic steroids, not Primobolan Depot.
Androgenic side effects of Primobolan Depot are possible; however, the threshold for such effects is high. The androgenic side effects of Primobolan depot include acne, hair loss and body hair growth. For such effects to occur, they will be determined by your genetics. Those who are predisposed to male pattern baldness may lose some of their hair. They were going to lose it anyway but the Primo as it’s often called may speed it up. Those who are not predisposed to male pattern baldness will not lose any hair. As for acne, again genetics plays a role. Those who are sensitive to acne will be the first to have a problem. Those who are not genetically sensitive will rarely have an issue. If you are acne sensitive, keeping your skin clean and dry at all times will offer a lot of protection. Important note – the Methenolone hormone is not metabolized by the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. This is the enzyme responsible for reducing testosterone to DHT, but in the case of Methenolone it’s already DHT. For this reason, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors will not reduce or affect the androgenicity of this steroid. The androgenic side effects of Primobolan Depot can also include virilization in women. Women can normally tolerate this steroid very well with low doses, but high doses and a poor genetic response may lead to virilization symptoms. Virilization symptoms can include body hair growth, a deepening of the vocal chords and clitoral enlargement. If such symptoms occur, if use is discontinued at their onset they will fade away rapidly. If such symptoms occur, are ignored and use continues they may become irreversible.
The side effects of Primobolan Depot rarely include high blood pressure. High blood pressure is possible in some individuals, especially if an underlying issue exists, but it is rare. The primary cardiovascular side effects of Primobolan Depot will revolve around cholesterol. The Methenolone hormone can significantly suppress HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) and increase LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol). The relative effect on cholesterol can be potentially stronger than many injectable steroids, but should be far less severe than most oral steroids. In order to protect your cardiovascular health, the first order of business is to ensure you’re healthy enough for use. If you suffer from high cholesterol you should not use this steroid. If you are healthy enough for use, putting in effort to maintain the continuation of healthy cholesterol is extremely important. The individual should ensure his diet includes plenty of omega fatty acids; daily fish oil supplementation is recommended. The diet should also be limited in saturated fats and simple sugars. It is also recommended that daily cardiovascular activity be part of your routine. Many will also find the use of a cholesterol antioxidant supplement to be very useful.
The side effects of Primobolan Depot will include natural testosterone suppression in all men who supplement with the Methenolone hormone. However, the rate of suppression will be weaker than many anabolic steroids, but with performance level doses it will be strong enough to warrant the inclusion of exogenous testosterone. This will prevent you from falling into a low testosterone condition, which not only comes with numerous possible symptoms but is also extremely unhealthy. Once the use of Primo has come to an end and all exogenous hormones have cleared your system, natural testosterone production will begin again. Most men are encouraged to implement a Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) program in order to facilitate a stronger recovery. This will not completely bring your testosterone levels back to their peak, this will still take time, but it will cut down the total recovery time. It will also ensure you have enough testosterone to function properly while your levels continue to naturally rise. Important notes – natural recovery assumes no prior low testosterone condition existed. Natural recovery also assumes the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular-Axis (HPTA) was not severely damaged due to improper anabolic steroid use.
