Description
Methyl-D, a.k.a. methyldienolone, is an oral derivative of the anabolic steroid nandrolone, and is very similar, in actions and side effects to its more popular relative Deca-Durabolin (Deca). As such it shares many of the family characteristics, thus much of what can be said for Deca holds true for Methyl-D as well, with the exception of its androgenic nature which more closely mimics testosterone.
Methyl-D was clinically proven to be 5x more potent than the legendary rapid mass and strength promoting anabolic steroid Dianabol, which is quite a tribute. However, because of its nandrolone qualities it returns leaner, less water retaining, higher quality Deca-like gains.
Steroid Form
Methyl-D along with its present and former OTC (over-the-counter) chemical cousins like Methyl-1-Testosterone, Superdrol, 1-AD, Havoc, and numerous others falls into the grey prescription drug/OTC supplement area.
Although they all generate genuine steroidal results (actions and effects), they were never FDA approved for, or sold as a prescription medications. Methyl-D is no longer available, but was marketed in the US (by its actual name) as a sports nutrition supplement, and sold in tablets containing 1 mg of steroid per tab.

Additional Information
Methyl-D is the ideal size and strength stacking companion for any of the testosterones (propionate, cypionate, and enanthate) which are often joined by Dianabol, Trenbolone, and Halostestin. Methyl-D also lend itself nicely to testosterone foundation cutting cycles that include Oral Turinabol, Primobolan, Winstrol, Equipoise, and Oxandrolone.
