Athletic Cycle

The following cycle is intended for the athlete that is looking for strength, speed and power. Weight gain may or may not be desired, but can be controlled in either direction with a proper diet. For the athlete worried bout weight gain, keep in mind such gains are not possible without adequate calories. An important factor many tend to forget is that anabolic steroids are largely dependent on the food we eat. They will not make large mounds of muscle appear without adequate nutrient intake.

Type of Testosterone:

Testosterone will NOT represent the base of this cycle. However, it is in place in order to provide the body testosterone it will need. When you supplement with anabolic steroids, any anabolic steroid, natural testosterone production will be suppressed. If we suppress and shut down natural testosterone production, even with other steroids being used, we risk producing low testosterone symptoms; in fact, it’s inevitable.

Testosterone: Testosterone dose may or many not need to be adjusted. 100-150mg per week of testosterone is enough to keep most men at their optimal testosterone level of 700-1100 ng/dl without heavy aromatization.

Anastrozole: Not listed, nor is any anti-estrogen, this is something you may have to play by ear. There will be some aromatase activity due to the testosterone and some, although not as much as the testosterone, due to the Nandrolone. 0.25-0.5mg 1-3 times per week depending on the individual may be needed. Each individual will be different.

Nandrolone: A rather low end dose is listed, but gaining mass is not the goal. The purpose of this dose to increase the individual’s recovery time, which is the key component to any training or performance plan. This will also help protect the athletes joints and often relieve joint pain that already exists. Some may find slightly more Nandrolone to be beneficial, but 200mg is a good starting point.

Winstrol: This is where our strength and speed will be increased. Use does not start until four weeks into the cycle in order to allow time for the Nandrolone to buildup in the body. Use beyond 50mg is not recommended due to the extreme liver stress this may cause, and should already be more than enough to promote very good gains in strength and speed.

HCG: It is strongly recommended that HCG be a part of your testosterone cycle. The addition of HCG will prevent testicular atrophy, which will occur with testosterone use. When we use testosterone or any anabolic steroid, we suppress our natural testosterone production. If we are supplementing with testosterone, this isn’t a concern during the cycle as we are providing our body with the testosterone it needs. However, HCG will keep the natural production online, which will make post cycle recovery far more effective. A dose of 250-350mg two times per week will suffice for most men.
